That’s when I discovered Dr. Phil Maffetone. His principles of aerobic conditioning, fat-adapted metabolism, and low-intensity training changed everything.
By adjusting my macros — moderate protein, high-quality fats, controlled carbs — and embracing low-intensity aerobic activity, I gradually rebuilt my strength and energy.
Within a year, my cholesterol rose to 179, my aerobic performance improved dramatically, and I felt healthier than ever.
